Many people go through life as though they’re wandering aimlessly engrossed in an unyielding haze.  What does it matter; having some dead beat job at some god forsaken place you couldn’t even stand the sight of, life never giving you anything interesting to say, no women on their knees begging you to have them every which way.  Men will never be enticed by you, thinking of you as a goddess on a pedestal, when, in fact you are no more rare than a pile of dirt.  Those around you never praise you, why should they you’re simply not worth it, not worth the air around to either, praise, nor insult.  Deep in the back of our minds we shall always believe that the only reason those around us don’t beat and mock us like the powerless dogs we are, is simply that we aren’t even worth that sort of attention.

Men, women, teens, adolescences, and children we all have a deep yearning for attention, even those who claim to hate all others with a burning and fiery passion.  The fact of the matter is, we crave that attention, not the kind you get by being famous, or even being the bullied kid in school.  No, the attention that we as human beings crave is far less complicated, what we truly crave in life is the attention of the one person who can; bring us up in our times of darkness and need, or even to share in the small comforts of life knowing that this one person will never truly leave us.  Our soul mate, that is what we truly yearn for, the one person whom not even death himself can make us part with.

Knowing this, why are there still so many people who travel the world in this mysterious fog of unknown, because they claim to know who it is?  People who walk around claiming that a blonde, or a redhead, a tall man, or a slim man, a curvaceous woman, or a slender woman are their soul mate walk around blindly, ignoring that their REAL destined partner could be standing right beside them.  A man can claim that the busty blonde woman in the apartment beside his is his soul mate, when in fact it’s the petite woman with short raven hair who’s been trying to go see a movie with him for weeks.  A woman can shout to their hearts content that the big strong dark haired man at the gym is her soul mate, when it’s actually the slim red headed server at her favorite café that’s been giving her his discount for over a month.

Love; however is a double edged knife, who can truly say though, that the man you tried to go see a movie with is truly your soul mate.  Is the woman that you give the discount to even worth the risk that it puts on you job at the café?  In the end of it all, when you got tickets to his favorite band, he took the busty blonde and left you heart broken, wandering in the fog.  After all you tried to do, you lost your job at the café for going against policy and giving an employee discount to someone else, and she was angered that you did it in the first place.  The red string of fate is a wonderful and mysterious thing, sometime in the midst of our deepest lows, we find adventure, and even love.  What if some people, in order to find their destined partner just need a little magic?
